Mountain Springs Estates Subdivision

Project included design of all utilities including sewer, water, storm sewer, micro-pool pond, soil erosion and sedimentation control plan and full storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP). Applied for applicable permits and obtained approval from planning board for project.

Boswell Hill Water Tank Replacement

Design Plans, Specifications and Water Model Report. Project consisted of modeling the existing distribution system of approximately 500 homes and designing a 500,000 gallon water tank on a new site, new booster pumps, power, control, telemetering and new water mains. The system was modeled with Haestads WaterCadd design software.

Griffiths Engineering was responsible for the site design including plans, specifications and a stormwater pollution prevention plan for a 56 acre planned unit development (PUD) located in the Town of Union. The project included new water lines, sanitary sewer, extensive earthwork, asphalt roadways, landscaping and a complex stormwater collection and treatment system.

Town of Conklin Flood Mitigation

Grifftihs Engineering assisted the Town of Conklin with various flood mitigation strategies. This included applying for FEMA Grants under the HMGP 1589-DR-NY and PDM-C FY 2006 programs.

Lourdes Hospital Flood Study

Griffiths Engineering teamed with Woidt Engineering & Consulting to develop a flood study for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital located in Binghamton, New York. The study was used to determine the cause of the flooding as well as analyze several options to remediate the problem. The study developed several options to control the flooding of the Susquehanna River through flood walls and levees.
